Portrait Commisions

I hope you like my kind of painting? The reason I ask this is that if you want an original portrait by an artist it must be in a style you really like. My work is definitely not photographic but I do, I am told, get the spirit or essence of a character and have a distinct, bold style.

I work quite fast, usually from 3 or 4 sittings of 1 –2 hours but they may be spread over some time. I prefer to paint people in their own surroundings if possible.
